If you plan to participate with your vehicle at the Hope Fellowship Trunk or Treat event, please read through the guidelines and information below before you register. THANK YOU for making this community outreach so special for our kids and the families of the Monadnock Region!
- Participating vehicles will need to be parked by 4:30 pm. You can arrive as early as 3:30.
- You will be assigned a parking spot and the Parking Team will direct you to your spot.
- Open up and decorate your trunk or back of your vehicle. There are some great trunk and decorating ideas on the internet! Please refrain from anything overly spooky or gory. Possibilities could include a halloween theme, sports, comic characters, Biblical, exotic locations, a particular decade– and they can be as elaborate or simple as you wish. If lights are needed in your trunk, please make sure they are battery powered as electricity will not be available on site.
- Bring lawn chairs to sit in and hand out candy to the kids! We encourage you to compliment costumes! Meet a family! Have fun!
- For candy, please bring only store-bought individually wrapped treats. Or consider giving out a non-candy treat (bubbles, other small prizes). Every year is different but we are planning for 500 children at the event.
- This year’s event has a 2 hour time frame that the public will be attending, starting at 5 pm and ending at 7 pm. Bathrooms will be available along with light snacks and drinks provided by Hope.
- At 6:45 pm, we award TRUNK PRIZES! Categories are Most Original, Spookiest, Funniest and Least Looking Like a Vehicle. So if your angling for fame and fortune (minus the fortune!), get ready to decorate!.
- For safety reasons, please plan to stay parked and decorated until after the event ends, breaking down your decorations and leaving after 7 pm.
- If you would like to donate the leftover candy after the event, there will be a donation container near the food tent.
- Questions: Please email Pastor Josh Prather.
